2. CHARACTERISTICS AND APPLICATIONS
The basic advantages of automatic and semi-automatic welding under the flux layer of Gemini EM – 12K welding wire are to ensure the quality of the weld joint is good – uniform, high productivity and save welding wire.
Gemini EM – 12K allows the use of large welding current intensity, high heat source efficiency, the operations of creating – maintaining the arc – moving the welding wire along the entire weld length are fully or partially automated.
EM – 12K is a type of welding wire with low Carbon content, average Manganese and Silicon content, extremely small Sulfur and Phosphorus impurities, creating a weld with high strength and toughness.
EM – 12K is manufactured with high precision, even wire direction, plated with a high purity copper layer for preservation and stable welding process.

7. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Prepare all safety factors before welding. Stable welding power source
Remove dirt such as oil, rust on the surface of the welding object, clean the welding area to avoid foreign matter from mixing with the welding flux. Chamfer the edge to create a full welding gap, carry out welding steps according to the correct standards.
Clean the welding nozzle, wire guide tube, adjust the wire guide mechanism reasonably so that the welding wire is fed stably. The welding guide system is sturdy, do not let the welding wire get tangled, bent or deformed.
When the wire and welding flux are damp, or covered with dirt, the welding will be smoky, spattery, unstable, the weld will be pitted, and the slag will be difficult to peel off. Store the welding wire in a dry place, tightly packaged to avoid dust, moisture, avoid contact with the welding wire surface, dry the welding flux above 200OC for 40 ~ 60 minutes before welding.
Choose the appropriate welding current and welding speed, always maintain the correct amount of protective flux according to the instructions to achieve deep weld penetration and high working ability.
